Moi? I am watching Breaking the Mould - the story of Penicillin. Poor old Florey should never have trusted all them others. Still maybe the Nobel eventually made up for it. Fleming is played by one of the more evil doctors from Casualty several years back :o

Tin Man , it finally came to Canadian telly , I loved the story and special effects . Although i would have chosen another actress for the part of DG ( named after Dorothy Gale ) . There were some bits in the plot that I thought was weak but I felt it didn't harm the effort .
It was a very good mix of humor and dread which would appeal to a broad audience , a brilliant re-imaging of Baum's classic .

*So* glad I wasn't at The Rally in Sturgis on Friday! Sturgis is a tiny townlet, drawing up to 400.000 bikers (according to the news) for the annual rally. Two bars and a bowling alley comprise the downtown, so not much in the line of shelter. Those outside the big tents or on the highway to or from were beat pretty hard by hail ranging from golf ball to baseball size.

Friends at a booth there had significant damage (windshields and side windows broken/blown out, "totalled" body damage, etc.
