Ashes is splendid and a very good take on the disgusting goings on in our British past. Just shows how far we have come from the bad old days when there was no equality and violence was tolerated (encouraged)........ :irony:

I knew the Evil Overlord list long ago and just stumbled on the video via a wikipedia link.

One entry is of course missing: If I put an impressive illusion on my throne, I will not install the controls behind a simple curtain in the audience hall right next to the people I want to impress.

I also find no countermeasures to intruders with invisibility cloaks/technology on the list.

Yet another load of rubbish on which I am hooked.

Here Damian Lews is the nice smiley guy who likes group hugs, whereas in John Galsworthy's "The Forsyte Saga" which I am aslo watching with great glee he is the dastardly evil and very nasty Soames Forsyte. It's fun flicking between the two.
