If it's horror then better keep away from East Asian ones at that time of day (resp. night).
When I watched "Recycle" in the evening, I was on the verge of switching off the PC (DVD drive) in panic. And that without any actual violence shown.
There was a similar effect with the final episode in I TRE VOLTI DELLA PAURA. My rational brain sections told me that what I saw was a simple rubber doll moved on wheels (without any animation), that the trick was as cheap as it could get but the rest of the brain went into pure panic mode.

I was assembling an Ikea cabinet while watching the movie. It has its moments but the whole pro-guilt, I mean pro-life argument turned me off very much. Also I think the girl was a better actress than the protagonist.

Interestingly the makers of the movie deny that they intended to send a 'pro-life' message and considered the abortion angle as a pure plot device. Admittedly it fits perfectly into the context (no matter whether the claim is true or false). I think the merit of the movie lies in its visuals and atmosphere, less in its plot and little in the acting.
I doubt though that (at least US) pro-lifers could make much use of it. There are too many elements that would clash with their (esp. Kristian(TM)) ideology.

I wasn't scared by Torchwood; I was just looking behind the sofa for some coins I dropped (the last time the daleks were on).

Why does anyone move to Midsomer? Given the average number of fatalities in each episode, all the locals must be dead by now,leaving only the incomers.

Watched some of Ashes to Ashes. Excellent. More tonight.
