-10 and more snow this morning.

I feel for poor Darlica who has to walk up and down a station that is infamous for being one of the worst wind tunnels on the network. My time outside will come later this evening and night, so I am digging out the thermal underwear now.

We got snow! Here's a photo of my round picnic table, looking rather like an alien pod rising up from some sort of ventricular portal.

You could have fooled me there. That looks exactly like the view from the house/hut in Norway we went to for many a happy year. In that case it was an old (lower) millstone.

Temperatures racing upwards around here, up to +5°C announced for to-morrow and maybe even rain. I hope there is enough snow already that the rain can't wash it all away. With nightly drops to zero even my safety work shoes will go a-slippin' I fear.

Temperatures stay clearly above zero and the rain has washed away the snow with only traces left. No change in sight.

A bit warmer in South FL @ about 70F/21C. 200 miles translate to 10F - 15F (5C- 8C) difference in temperature (compared to Orlando).
