The LOWEST has been 68.

I want more COOL weather, dammit!! The 'lectric bill is gonna be hell this summer.

You can always come and visit here...

Winter decided to comeback, with vengeance, 15 to 25 cm of snow fell over the Stockholm area yesterday and during the night. It's about +2 to - 4°C which isn't very cold but together with the snow it generate a lot of trouble for cars, buses and commuter trains.

Well, our weather turned around on us. lows in the high 30's, highs in the low 60's and rain.

Of course, as the barometer dropped, I went through hell again. Shoulder, neck and upper bar/head pain that causes me to have to double up on my narcoti meds, and even then, it's touch and go as to whether I'll have to go to hospital for Demerol or stronger injections. I made it this time due to a bottle of liquid oxycontin.

Raining most of the time. Had to go to the stores today, I had a med refill that I needed...and did some basic shopping. (Dog food and peanut butter.)

I don't mind the cold. I HATE the changing barometer and the rain.

Sounds just like our weather, here. We've all been having sinus headaches. The trees are starting to green up though, and that makes me happy.

Here it's getting hotter, mid 80s on the day and the humidity rising. :(

We have passed the rainy part of spring and have entered the windy/mostly cloudless/fluctuating temperatures part of the season. Upper 60s to mid 70s.

Uggg

We have entered POLLEN season around here- it's been building but is now at full alert.
This is of course right in the middle of -- one day it is freezing (they are warning of killing frost maybe Tuesday morning) and the next gentle summer (it will be near 80 tomorrow/today) season.

Oh yeah, that's what we have here too, 'Babe. We had a loverly weekend, Sunday was 70 degrees and sunny with little wind, but we have a frost warning for tomorrow.

As for the pollen, I've been taking this AllergyMD homeopathic stuff. It works pretty well. I used to use loratadine (Claritin) but after taking it for years, it wasn't working so well.

We have a mix of utterly perfect English spring days, quite warm and sunny, with inter-laced dismal dark cold English winter days. My summary is we have reverted to traditional English for as long as it lasts (I haven't checked what the Gulf Stream is doing though). Flowers and tree blossom in huge quantities.

I'm debating on turning on the AC, despite the fact of it more than doubling our electricity usage (and bill) more now that we are on only one income. If it keeps getting hotter I might cave in.  :-\

We have a statewide freeze warning overnight.
This means that on the way into work just now I got a good look at everyones extra sheets and blankets.
Some of you might ask -- What?
See when a freeze warning is issued round here this time of year everyone scurrys about draping all tender vegitation with anything and everything available in order to save flowers, buds, fruitings, etc.
People will also run outdoor extension cords to various lighting sources pointed at various plants in the hopes the heat will help as well. Not sure how truly safe it is due to the morning moisture and rain the last few days but interesting to see.

It's often like a lovely quilt in some peoples yards.

I'm enjoying our three weeks of real spring! Cool enough you want a jacket of you're going to be out past nine pm, but warm enough for flip flops.
