Calgary's weather.....  see attachment.

NAUGHTY LANGUAGE WARNING - blasphemy and f-words.

The forecast for Monday is very, very consistent with the the 7th day of any long-range forecast here, although to be fair they usually extend that kind of over-optimism to the 4th, 5th and 6th day too.  :P

Impressive!

Are you certain you don't want to take accomplishment credit for creating that lovely chart as well?

Aee-o! We were stormy last night, but today it's sunny. Good for BBQing!

Well, we got some rain from Almost-Hurricane Edouardo. Started about the time I had to leave for the gastro doc, stopped a couple hours after we slogged home. Nice, nothing exciting rainfall.

The barn cats and under-the-house cats have all been up on the porch, and by previous decisions made regarding animals in one anothers space, Spencer doesn't "see" them when he and his Daddy go walkins, and they don't "see" him. Thusly, all furpersons are happy AND dry.

I hope the cool-down lasts, but I expect tomorrow to be Hell Hot AND muggy, steamy and miserable. :P

Thanks, Chatty, I was wondering how that was going for you. Glad to hear you're okay.

We've got a very warm one today, but overall it's been a relatively mild summer, here. We've had good rain (after a few drought years) so the plant people are very happy in these parts.

Rotten bloody year here - it was snow to the end of May, rain all June and most of July, and now it's decided that it's Autumn (clear, crisp, windy with occasional showers).  Summer didn't even show up for Stampede, except the hail.

We'll take some of that. It's been dry here the last week or so. The plant people are weary.

Sibling Chatty

We had some small amounts of rain yesterday. Most strange...

It rained a bunch last night.
Made pulling some obnoxious new weeds very easy this morning.

Hot. And blindingly sunny (as in, if the tag tells you to plant something in full sun--don't. It'll burn). Ick.

Hot-hot for once in Calgary.  Low of 21 C degrees last night (probably hotter downtown, with all the concrete & such) with a surprising amount of humidity; 35 C or more yesterday.

Thunderstorms scheduled for today which should bring it back to "normal" (no such thing here).

Rain and wind, some isolated tornadoes but so far nothing serious. Fay seems to be a bit stubborn and has been actually strengthening a bit over 'land'* and dumping a bit of water over central FL. It may prove to be a good thing if our main source of fresh water (lake Okeechobee) gets replenished.

* have I told you that FL is a swamp?  ;)
