"You _could_ start saying, "that is on a Need To Know basis, and you do not qualify.  Good Morning!" *click*
How much more trouble could you get in with that response?  "

:devil2:
I have often wanted to reply to the question-- usually posed by a faculty member that left their classroom key at home-"when are they going to be here- we are cold/hot waiting outside?" with -my hand covering the phone as if I am talking to someone else," Base to __ ,  professor so and so wants in NOW -so can you ask the bank robber(we have two banks on campus)/guy with heart attack/etc along those lines -to hang on a minute while you go and take care of something important instead of your stupid police officer job?"
but alas the phones are recorded .....

On a better note-- sort of gross though- I finally figured out the issue with the bathroom sink-- had to take it apart and well gross but it was sometime in the past someone had dropped a wooden pop-sickle stick down there and it was accumulating hair-etc and that is why it would not drain-- like I said gross but it's out of there now and it drains like it is supposed to-- I'm afraid of the kitchen sink so I'm not going there. I really think something is alive down there....

Sorry to hijack the Canadian small talk thread- just ignore me and I'll let you get back to it. Wait- I dated a Canadian once so this is Canadian small talk as we really dated if you know what I mean so that makes me almost Canadian--- right ;)

Aggie: I can not ice skate and I never learned to roller skate-- I wish I had the guts to take lessons now and learn- I find ice skating -even by those just having fun beautiful.

Snowing here - AGAIN.

It's snowed every day for the last 3 days, although it's been melting in between flurries.

My car is nice and dry underground (unless it floods!).

It got even worse after that - i.e. when I was walking to work.

Intercepting a Canadian thread yet again... the first out-of-season snow I saw here was sudden, heavy and wet. I marveled at the coeds picking their way, delicately, through ankle-deep icy puddles in kitten-heeled sandals and flip flops...

I hope all y'all are more sensible up nort.

Opsa

It's been raining for two days straight, here... and this is wonderful because we've been in a drought for the past year. This rain will catch us up somewhat.

It's expected to be sunny tomorrow and near seventy degrees. The grass is shaggy and needs mowing, but it's too wet right now. Major mud! But the flowers will really be popping this weekend.  :)
