A wee bit of snow

Same here, but it's blooming cold!  Well below freezing each night.  Scotland and parts of Wales have got loads of the stuff and many roads are blocked.

Yesterday they promised heavy snowfall for today but I can't see aynthing of it.

Postcard winter weather here -heavy snowfall for a few days, and now a clear and crisp day, slightly overcast, with temperatures of around -6.

Further north, the weather has been more agressive, though. A multi-car and lorry pileup outside Hudiksvall closed down one of the major motorways on the norhtern east coast of Sweden for the whole night, before the wreckage could be cleared. Lots of people were stuck overnight in their cars, some of them also running out of petrol. Fortunately, apart from those involved in the initial collision, noone has been seriously hurt.

Minus 8ºC / 17½ºF on my outside max/min thing this morning.  Somewhere in Wales and Shrewsbury (50 miles from here) both reported -17ºC / 14ºF, according to the BBC.

Light scattering of snow on rooves. First I've seen of it. Most of London brought to a standstill by snow falls today, roads, and trains, but my immediate surroundings escaped it, no snow. It's odd, but we nearly always do.

Looks like it's the same in large parts of Germany. Also not much snow here in the capital but there seems to be some wind (given the noises from outside).

Way too much rain and wind earlier today, but the rain has ended for now, at least. I heard we had a tornado watch this morning. I'm kinda glad i didn't know about that.

Light scattering of snow on grass today, while rest of London cancelled incl. airports. There must be some kind of psychic block overhead (over my head). Hope this continues as I have to drive to hospital tomorrow. With my special powers, I wonder if I can clear the roads in front of me.

Snowing again here, but not hard.  As our local radio forecaster said, all the heavy snow has been round the E and S of Britain and we're in a kind of horseshoe free of it.   Forecast -8°C / 17.6 ºF tonight.
