Almost toasty warm today; no sign of last week's blizzard. Everyone was out cleaning up downed branches and yard debris, and someone a block down with high testosterone and low brains decided to chainsaw down an entire tree. Riiiiight.

Riiiiight on top of the newly restored power line.

Several of us arrived home with replacement grocerie$ to find...no power! But kudos to the power company who arrived promptly (I wonder how many furious calls!) and restored power to us the second time this week.

Oh boy, I'll bet that guy is pretty popular right now.

The rains have stopped, but we will probably continue to be soggy for a few days. We got around 5 inches of rain, I think. Maybe more.

Zonoland remains it's usual sauna self. No changes expected until thanksgiving at the earliest.

I have no idea. Really. I've been too busy to look out the window. I think I heard rain.

Rain today.

Spoiled my plans for yard recycling.   I really do need to police up the flat steel I have lying here and there (in neat piles-- don't wish to be trashy)...

... but the rain is welcome, even though it means I will mow the grass yet again before the first freeze finally puts it to sleep.

:)

my webpage-- alas, Cox deleted it--dead link... oh well ::)

13.4°C rain in the first half of the day, now some sunrays breaking through
Knurrhähne sind eßbar aber empfehlen würde ich das nicht unbedingt.
The aspitriglos is edible though I do not actually recommend it.

Mild and sunny yesterday. Had lunch outside!

Today, a little cooler and cloudier.

Opsa

We're around 70F today and partly sunny. A cold front is coming in though, and I have felt it in my sinuses!

Going to enjoy the mildness while I can.

:update:

The cold front is here. We have a freeze watch tonight. The houseplants are off the porch and I've picked the last of the garden flowers.

It's kinda nice, in a way.

Did I told you that temporary Zonoland is as hot and possibly more humid than regular Zonoland?

Yes, I'm liking the food so far and later today I will go to a pretty island with an underground river. Pity I'm alone, but I'll take pictures.
