A prepos....... the BBC have been told to take their clock off their Home page as it gets its time from the user's computer clock which is often wrong.............. (though why people wouldn't have their clocks synchronised with the atomic clock I know not/i].

My electric alarm clock is always set 10 minutes fast because reasons. The clock on my laptop and the clock on the tv match and are linked to the sekrit internets time. The electric clock on the stove (I don't set this - it rights itself if the fusebox is reset) is a couple minutes slower. I have always set the clock in my car 10 minutes fast because reasons. The digital clock on an electronic billboard halfway to work is ~2 minutes faster than my home pc time. The (battery operated, so, yeah) wall clock at work ranges from 5 minutes fast to 5 minutes slow. The clock on my work pc matches my "home" time; the clock on the pc hooked up to the HOME OFFICE  is 2 minutes fast.

I've actually got three clocks on my laptop: for GMT, Sri Lanka, and Australia. I have the alarn clock on my bedroom chest of drawers two minutes behind my bedside alarm. In any case, I have a load of preset alarms set on my smart phone for reminder of various events - so many it tends to drive me slightly mad. My car and my microwave are an hour behind as they are difficult to change and they will, in any case, be correct again when the clocks go back in the autumn.

It was probably easier when you just had to look through the standing stones at Stonehenge.

It's a constant effort. Every 11 minutes the alarm beeper reminds me to refresh. All done by hand not bot.

Strive is a bad word over here at present. The Govt. has done a divide and rule by running a Strivers and Skyvers campaign. (Skyvers includes people who are too ill to work etc etc. it is a shameful campaign, disabled people eg are getting beaten up etc etc).
