Yes, I was aware of that; I wondered why you didn't just write habebimus.  I meant that the point in the future at which we will have had a (new) pope will come after we have had a lot of smoke.

BTW our name for the tense is Future Perfect.

I was thinking (actually quoting, I admit) about the time in the futur when we have had but not have a pope, i.e. the period of 'sedes vacans'.
Especially the special case of both have-been and going-to-be pope being alive at the same time, an extreme rarity. Unique even in that it is not the going-to that does the kicking out of the future-have-been (as with Coelestin and Boniface) and subsequent enhanced departure from life technique application.
