I made so many errors answering the first test I tried I didn't get any answers. It was an interesting test though even without answers. Mainly because I got in the most awful muddle and got errors by not putting things into categories they didn't seem to fit in. Which left me wondering how the tests are really supposed to work.

Interesting but I'm not sure about the method, I don't think this kind of test really becomes valid unless it's done in a lab environment.
I would also prefer spoken answers to buttons since IMHO most people have a dominant brain half and that will probably influence if your left or right hand is faster. That said I do agree with the results I got in the test (age).

However I think they missed a fairly basic psychological explanation in the "why do you think you got this result" section; if a person identifies easier with one of two groups, is is also very likely that this person would want the "good things" to be associated with the category identify him or her self with.

The main problem is who is associated with what first (in my case old with bad and after old with good). They say they randomize the effect (some should get the old - good association first) and by doing so verify their statistics. I don't know how accurate their verdict about your test is, though, they claim they compensate with the same statistics.

I don't get it at all. First I have to say someone is thin or fat when some are neither (even though the terms seem pejorative, well ok they want an unconscious repsonse, so alright I did that). Then they seem to want me to say all fat people are bad. I couldn't. I kept automatically clicking good and getting told I'd made a mistake. They then say this means my test is no use. Surely it actually means that even if I am prejudiced against large people my conscious intervenes so fast it is wiped out, or, even perhaps, that I am not actually prejudiced even unconsciously. hmmmm.

It's an https (secure socket layer ) (encrypted) web, ie. like the shopping sites.....where you put your credit card in.... not that you have to put your credit card in, but do you have to change any settings to use secure sites on your PC?

OK, it tells me I am only SLIGHTLY prejudiced toward dark skin?? I consciously answered to make SURE I showed a prejudice against light skin. However, they'd asked my race, so...

I have no particular skin color preferences. In my family you can't...you offend too many relatives. (Family gatherings look like the old Benetton ads...every race and mix imaginable, but a number of our black family members are really black, not ' bright skinned', as the saying goes.)

I may try it again, and tell it I'm mixed race.

Then again, the dyslexic with a funked up left hand thing IS a real issue.
