Movie at the actual theator.

the latest Batman flick:  The Dark Knight.

Not bad-- very similar to Batman Begins-- same style, feel, etc.  Some of the same characters.

Just watched the Sunday night SciFi movie.

Was from Korea.

Was about dragons-- Korean ones, long snake-like.

Loads of CGI.

Story was weak, and disappointing at the very end--- they had a "K-9" rescue, but no hint that was even possible.

I went to theatre this afternoon, Bernarda based on a play from Federico Garcia Lorca. A small production from a small company in Miami in spanish. All the characters were women played by men (I'm guessing due to the nature of the company) with their faces painted in kabuki style. I was pleasantly surprised by the work and the performance of the actors.

Nothing better than having your expectations surpassed.  :)

I thought there was one male character in it, if only shortly (the love interest of all the girls).

Yes but although he is in the minds of all the women he never shows up. Actually in this interpretation there was one man but only as a metaphoric reference to one of the ladies desires, and the guy was... well, not exactly 'dressed' like a ram. In fact the play was advertised as adults only because of that scene (which was well done, mind you) :o :o ;)

Once again I failed to set the video. Did they judge them according to the lightness of the Victoria sponges and the flower arrangements? Where do they recommend?
