It's either autumn or spring outside, definitively not winter.

The aspitriglos is edible though I do not actually recommend it.

More and more rain.  I thought the fields couldn't be any soggier than they were yesterday, but I was wrong.  The Lugg is having a Christmas treat outside its banks and seems to be going for a new record.

If it rises another 27 feet above where it's got to now, it'll be at our door.  I'm not too worried.  ;)

Lucky you live on Your Hill.

More rain in the night. I heard it. Haven't looked out but the Thames was on flood warning. But as the Thames Barrier was designed so that our bit of the river has planned floods am not worried either.... it does flood but only right down by the river.

Opsa

Yicky, yicky wintry mix here. Earlier today we had snow, then sleet, now freezing rain. I hope we do not lose power, but we're fairly well prepared if we do.

We heard about appalling weather right across the US.  They spoke of tornadoes and blizzards in different parts.   Just hoping you folks are OK.

Here - more heavy rain.  What else?

Still too cold for my birds to be outside: 55F/12C plus cold wind, I'll have to wait an hour or two to take them out to the balcony for the afternoon and then back inside again as it will go back down.

The good news is that my energy bill came for $55 dollars this past month (AC is really wasteful).  :D

Apart from a chilly wind, it is clearly spring outside.

Fairly dry, quite bright for a bit, about 6-8 degrees.

Dry between rainstorms. :o

I'm now in Exeter, on the SW peninsula where the worst floods are.  The house is on top of a high hill, and isn't cut off from anywhere important.  Luckily there are all sorts of places we don't need to go to.

Opsa

Clear and cold today. Just popping in to see how everyone is, and then it's off to the museums.  :-*

More rain forecast. Flood warnings on the hames and the Thames barrier being raised for second time tonight. No floods in my bit though. :)
