Ha, a bit warmer and drier, which actually means not quite so coold and wet.

I'll trade you some of our hot and dry for some of your cold and wet.  Today is a day of total fire ban here and is the worst fire risk day since the Black Saturday bush fires of 2009.  Just hope we can get by without another conflagration, but the way the grass and undergrowth has sprung up in the last couple of years, that might be a forlorn hope.  Just have to wait and see.

I've always thought the UK safe from extreme weather, but latterly our droughts and floods are begining to change that. Still, fire is a whole lot worse. I've always aslo wondered where in the world has the perffect climate, not too hot, not too cold, not too wet, not too dry, not too humid, plentiful crops, and interesting films. Ok, I made the interesting films bit up.

Well, Moreton-on-Lugg would usually meet your requirements, apart from the times when it doesn't.  And the films.

Nothing extreme over here, just not looking like normal winter. One would expect slight sub-zero temperatures not 5-10°C above. Damp, cool with occasional rain. Normal, just 1-2 months off.
