Now is the weather turn'd to discontent
In glorious summer by this son of Bike;
And dank exhaust that lour'd in the garage
At all red lights doth build into a cloud.
Now are their brows bound with skull bandanas;
And bruised arms conceal'd in leather sleeves;
Their stern alarums changed to drunken greetings,
Their dreadful marches to Black Hills road trips.
Grim-visaged artists have tattooed their front;
And now, instead of mounting Harley-chromed
To fright the souls of fearful neighbor ladies,
They doth roar throughout the Paha Sapa
With haltered wenches and goggled small dogs.

We are due rain tomorrow (actually today, but it is still the evening before for me).

I need to go out for shops stuff but shall wait til Tuesday which shows a sun symbol.

It's been a relatively mild winter, generally not too cold, even had a record high for July, but interspersed with extremely cold bursts of a few days on several occasions, just going into another one now.  Roses are starting to grow, but I have not been game to prune them yet as we are still expecting some more frosts over the next few days.

That sounds pretty nice, Blue.

Our summer here has been relatively mild. We haven't had as many scorchers as we often have in late July. There has also been plenty of rain, which makes things perfect for plants, but also for mould. Still, I think it is preferable to drought, at least up here in the piedmont where we are not prone to flooding.

Warm to hot during the day, rain in the evening. No thunderstorm that I noticed (although it looked quite eerie right before sunset)

Another warm, muggy day with chance of showers.

I hope it clears up for the Perseids meteor shower this weekend.
