Record amount of rain so far . The combined storms from Sunday and Monday caused severe flooding along the lakeshore . All sorts of vehicles were submerged , people actually swimming away from there cars . It looked as if Lake Ontario rose seven feet .Quite a sight , one I'd never seen before .

Opsa

I have seen photos posted on Flickr of flood photos from the Great White North. The volume of water is impressive, to say the least.

Here it's just warmy and stormy.

One of our customers showed up with horrible bruises today, and reported lemon-sized  hail last night!

Dom & I heard some amazing, whip-cracking thunder, but not hail.

The heat is back (actually, it didn't really leave, just attenuated slightly).
WWDDD?

Opsa

We have been having a heat wave this week. The temps are in the upper 90's F, with the humidity making it feel like over 100 F.

Add to that the aggressive tiger mosquitoes we have at this time of year and it makes the great outdoors not so great right now.

32 C here. Level Three Heatwave warning. People dying in ponds and lakes.

If ponds and lakes keep forming, we will have people dying in them, it's been raining like the world is about to end here.

We've had a cold snap-- people are freezing hereabouts.  Lots of wind damage, from the thunder-boomer the other day.

Temps down to the mid 80's F.

Quite apart from the more typical 110-in-the-shade we had last year.

Of course, the humidity is 66% out there-- so it's a muggy frostwave.

For my taste it's too damn hot around here (similar to Griffin). And for thee weekend up to 37°C are announced.
Anything above 25°C I find intolerable unless it is food/tea or a bath.

I just can't stand the humidity. It's been around 26 oC here this afternoon with a lovely fresh wiind but inside is still like an oven with 100$ humidity.

Opsa

Last week was very hot and humid. This week the humidity refreshingly low and there are some breezes. We are near 80 F for a high temp today.
