Our Dear goat expressed a desire to meet attractive 30ish ladies
well as I understand it

Brittney is currently unattached (in many ways)
Paris is between Greek oil boys and would probably love a nice goat to replace her herd of mini-dogs.
Lyndsey L. is not in rehab and has dumped the 'skater boy'.
Kirsten Dunst is in rehab- but should be out soon
Alas--- Jessica S. is dating some football guy (or did Texas run her off yet?)-potential to pickup a broken heart there!

see it all depends on how you look at things-- is the glass half empty or half full?

...and if it helps to know, Mr. Ops barely has a romantic bone in his body. I had to go and get some flowers for the table last night. I usually do the flower-buying.

They were just little white mini-carnations, quite inexpensive, but simple and cheery and with a hint of clove fragrance.

After nearly twenty years of marriage, I know it'll be up to me to do the romantic stuff. That's just how it is.

Thank goodness for all the romantic pirates here, showering us with sweet thoughts!  :thankyou:

I do like carnations

have you ever taken them and split the stem  and then put them in colored water(plain old food color)? they draw up the water and they turn color for you via capillary action. Of course it works best with white ones. must split the stem what seems like a horrible bit, split them at least half way-long ways not cut the stem off, but it is really a nice lovely thing to play with. Oh can also take one side of the stem and put in one color and the other in another and have dual colors. (I love Bill Nye the science guy- or whom ever I learned this from originally).

BTW- 20 years of marriage is fantastic-- congratulations.

Nice idea! I put a few on the Opsalette's room. We have some neon food color. Maybe we could do this as a fun experiment.

:D

Aggie

OOH - black light flowers!

(coincidentally, I was planning a prank involving a black light, a coleus plant, and a bunch of highlighters, but this might be better)
WWDDD?

Hee hee... are we revving up for April Fool's Day already?

April fool's day is the day of my anniversary so I guess it makes sense...

Speaking for myself, Valentines day will always be a special event, due to the fact that my Dad's birthday is also on V-day.

Can always manage to go to a nice sit-down dinner (NO fast-food!) with Mom & Dad during those days.

My only sister's birthday is on the 15th, and on rare events, we're all together (she normally lives in Seattle or thereabouts).   Was the case this year.  *yaaaay*

My dad often tells a tale about himself:  it wasn't until the 2nd or 3rd grade, when he figured it out that they were NOT celebrating HIS birthday at school.....
Sometimes, the real journey can only be taken by making a mistake.

my webpage-- alas, Cox deleted it--dead link... oh well ::)
