Man, that's hard to do, but sometimes it is necessary. It takes two to play head games, and you have just left the table! I'm with Bob- good for you!

Thank you. :) Not terribly hard today. I was at the ATM and he tried to complain about the machine, I told him I didn't care, he said something not worth repeating and left. Hasn't tried to talk to me the rest of the day.

I'm always bluntly honest with people (unless I'm trying to get them to do something for me :D).

But I regularly call out people, because I see what they're really trying to do, but is say it casually with a smile so they don't realize quite what's going on.

I just never get into association with people I don't like, or I don't like how they go about doing things. I can deal with people in forced situations, like school partners or whatever, but if it's a choice, I greatly narrow who I deal with.

Of course, this leads to me not really hanging out with that many people from school a lot... because they're all inferior. :P

I *have* called him out. He ignored it.

However, such is not a problem anymore. I'm no longer friends with him until further notice. He messaged me on facebook, I tore into him, called him a selfish coward, among other things, and I think that was a bit sobering for him.

Cool. You were straight with him. Now he can deal with it or not, and you can leave it alone, if you like. You said your peace. I hope you have a splendid weekend.

I just got back online a few days ago , my service provider "bumped " me up a level or two , now my comp is working at 20 plus times faster  :yar: ( this is great , and for no extra charge . I'm sticking with this company now ) .

Anywaze Scib , I agree with a previous statement that those that talk about it a lot ( taking themselves out ) don't do it .,
It's generally those that don't talk about that do , they put affairs in order , say goodbyes etc. and plan it out   without many  noticing  changes in behavior , they don't want and  are not looking for pity but  relief from despair they cannot deal with .
Well the above is just what I have noticed and have been told by others that have had friends and family actually do it , the signs were all there but the affected people gave little away to what was in their minds .

Your "friend" is simply avoiding adulthood as much as possible ( as it seems to me ) . If and when he does grow up to be a man , he will / should be embarrassed and ashamed of himself .
The rejection has him down ,  the realization that he may be a " loser in life" is preventing him from correcting the situation to what his expectations of what  life is supposed to be like .
Time should heal him , but I don't see why he can't behave like a father should , in or out of wedlock .

That's my two sense .

That's my two sense .

Which two?  Smell and sight?

I am sorry but I could not resist such a juicy straight line.... :)

Yup. I called him out on avoiding adulthood. He seems to have woken up. From what I've heard on the grape vine, he's sought some custodial rights. He wants to see his daughter (I also told him I though he didn't seem to care about her at all) and is trying to get that opportunity.
Good to see you back, BS.
