Two of my friends also have birthdays in June, and so we decided to have a joint party, and combine it with a Uni reunion. Richard's folks have some land in Aberdeenshire, so we went up and built a dirty big bonfire, barbeque with lots of food, plenty of beverages, organised a clay pigeon shoot, a PA system and fireworks. We told everyone in the nearby village, all the surrounding farms, the police, fire brigade etc.

There were people I hadn't seen for ten years turning up. Grand total of 74 in the end, and we proceeded to celebrate in style. Bonfire was lit at the culmination of the fireworks, all done to 'Ride of the Valkyries'. Already scheming for next year....

Yep now that's a party! I am so happy you had a good one.
