Rain held off though storm clouds gathered. Not too warm though.

We are parching out here. Rain would be welcome.  I saw a small forest fire break out today while fishing.
WWDDD?

Swatopluk

Temperatures tolerable but somehow it is difficult to breathe outside (there may or not be rain later)

Got some rain yesterday (incidentally, picked up Rain Dogs on CD from the library. I picked up a used copy on vinyl recently, but I don't have a record player).
WWDDD?

School started this week.
Schools letting out early (after lunch) all week due to unusually high temps.

Aggie's got forest fires?  Round here it's so wet that half the harvest isn't in yet.  You couldn't start a forest fire here if you used a tankerload of diesel.

Pieces, I love the new avatar.  ;D

Rain of fire and steel in Munich (they did not damp the damper straw for that 250 pound WW2 gift and so it gave a nice extra fireworks that set surrounding buildings on fire).
Over here up North (where 3000 tons of UXB is estimated to be still in the ground) the weather looks like imminent rain at tolerable temperatures in the 20ies (Celsius).

I hadn't heard they were 'making safe' a bomb.  That's always fun.

Swatopluk

Did the Brits have the same fun inventing booby traps for the German bomb disposal experts as we did for your's?

I watched a few hours of original training films before becoming aware of the TV series (the makers of which DID do their research).
Unfortunately, 10 Seconds to Hell (Hammer's take on the German side, filmed on location) seems not to be available on DVD.

Still waiting for the rain.

I expect so.

Downpour just as I was going out.  But by the time I reached my destination, all dry again.

There was some rain while I visited a museum but it had diminished enough when I came out that I did not need to don the hood or open the umbrella.

We had another derecho last night! Knocked the power out for five hours. Luckily it also knocked out the steamy air from the last hurricane, too. It's very nice today. The air is clear and temps are headed for the mid 70's F.

Swatopluk

Constantly changing weather at tolerable temperatures. But a heat wave is announced for the next few days.
