We had a good downpour last night. Another may happen today.

I was leaking (just short of steaming) the whole day. Not as extremly hot but very high humidity. Now some rain has come at last and it seems to be a wee bit cooler. But since the midges have learned to fly in the rain, I don't dare open the window of this room.

No rain yesterday. It doesn't seem likely today, either. Temps are mild. I don't mind a bit of a dry-out, as it's been so soggy.

No idea what it has been like today.

Nice weather with tolerable temperatures

Just going out to take a load of disabled people to a farm park.  Showers forecast - please cross fingers for us.

David, I prayed to Quetzalcoatl, Zeus, Odin, Baal, and Isis for good measure.

Warm today again, which is good. I'm hoping for an Indian summer this year, with a gentle drop in temperature going into late autumn.

Tolerable Ts in the mid-twenties (°C) and it seems tolerable humidity too (in here 50%).

Suddenly, it is a but chilly at night...

For the first time in some time I had to use an umbrella today. For weeks it only rained when I was inside.

We knew it was going to rain today so we mowed our lawns early.  The rain began as I was putting the mower away.  This goes entirely against Sod's Law, Murphy's Principle and Pottinger's Theorem.  It must be this here global wossname what's doing that.

BTW Thanks, folks!  Roland's incantations must have been effective, we had a dry day although the ground was a bit soft for wheelchairs in places.
