printuple To print a document in 5 parts.  History of usage: used to describe the requirements of any bureaucratic system in existence.  It came into common usage, as ink-jet and laser printers replaced the earlier impact-type printers.  This caused a switch from the use of 5 and 7 part carbon-paper collated forms to a multiple-print requirement.  (Use form Q7 stroke C, revision 7.5a) Thus, a document is printed in 5 parts, it is to printuple the document.  See also printocuple and printacade.
