Even Lincoln was on the removal list until the decision was made to just put him on equal footing with Jefferson Davis. I hope this will result in breaking of the near monopoly of Texan school textbooks in the US (I read that apart from California all other states tend to adopt the Texas standards or to even just import their textbooks from there).

Including Thurgood Marshal, the first black SCOTUS justice, also responsible for Brown v. Board of Education, the case that ended segregation in schools.
