It should rotate and move in an arc unless is center of gravity is aligned with the cylinder (don't know the first).

I am still working on the tartan designer but I found that there are lots of different possibilities to turn fabric into pixels.
Below (and the next post) are just 5 of them.
Which in your opinion looks/is best?
