I know, ack! Hopefully this drizzly morning will give way to clearer skies tonight and tomorrow. I'd like to catch some Perseids.

Rain in the afternoon, now sunny again

Kinda nice today, but overcast expected to move in by Perseid time. G'arrgggghhh!

I didn't know what causes meteor showers -- that is, I didn't know that they are cyclical and predictable because the earth passes through more-or-less regular orbits of comet  debris during its own regular orbit...

Lots of silliness in this one, but I discovered it last night and learned some new things, especially when he mentioned the Perseids by name.

We were overcast last night (grrf!), but I'll look for the Persieds again tonight!

Decidedly poor weather for viewing Perseids again this year. We're having some lovely rains here this morning with a cool and clear trend for the rest of the week. Maybe I can catch some stragglers.
