Wendy likes to dry the washing on the line in the garden.  The stuff smells so nice.  At the moment it's 50-50 whether it'll dry before the next shower, or do we give in and hang it on the dryer over the stove?  Much merry fun to be had rushing in and out grabbing stuff, cursing and grumbling.

Another switch to lovely weather (therefore, I expect a dreadful Saturday)
Knurrhähne sind eßbar aber empfehlen würde ich das nicht unbedingt.
The aspitriglos is edible though I do not actually recommend it.

Sunny and cool today. There's some talk of a nor'easter this Wednesday.

Weather stll switching back and forth bur far less predictably.

Cold and miserable.  There was a frost last night which ruined some of Wendy's flowers.

Opsa

Aw, sorry to hear about the flowers. We got our first real freeze last night and mine are gone now, too. But it is time for a break from gardening.

Me toesies are frozies!

Ahh, it's done for now. Nothing left but this nor'easter headed up the coast. Some talk of snow, but I don't really smell anything yet.

Weirdly, we were bludgeoned with robo calls at work today. About half sounded like the creepy attack ad 'whispering innuendo' guy, and half were overly peppy, 'mature female' voices. They all joyously informed that 'your taxes are about to go up...' or 'your social programs are going to see major cuts...' or ;'small business owners like you...'

I hung up on all of them as quickly as possible. meh.  forget that this fear-mongering about the *very* things the preferred [R] candidates promised to bring about their-own-selves. How long will *this* new annoyance go on, now?

Interesting..... I hate the smell of washing dried outside on the line.

How totally creepy and in bad form! I've had a few strange calls where I just heard a beep and it hung up.

I noticed something interesting last week when I kept getting calls from the NRA, to which I most certainly do not belong. I have caller ID, and when I called back the robo that had called me, I got an option to have my name removed from their list! I took it. Of course, they still called the next day, but not since then. I wonder if you can do the same. If you don't have called ID you might try *69.

Maybe it's different in London?

No, other areas too.

For some reason those sorts of calls always come in as "International" on my caller ID. I always think it's one of my sons and something terrible has happened. It makes me very cross.
