Chivas is great, I'll second that.  I received a bottle of Chivas and a bottle of that Courvoisier for Christmas, the Chivas is about gone, the Courvoisier?  Well, since I have not taken up cigar smoking yet, it is still there, virtually untouched.

That reminded me one of those crazy ideas I have at times: buying an oil rig platform in international waters.

Speaking of crazy ideas, if I won the lottery I would place an amount of the winnings to make reality some recumbent bicycles and bikes I had been thinking about (in Lego).

Actually, that first one is potentially a very good investment, depending on location, access, power hookups, water quality, etc. Recreational properties in that area aren't looking to drop any time soon. The second is a crazy idea, but not as much as the 3100 acre parcel for $850,000 that I saw....  room for a private ski hill on that one...!


BTW, how about some Lego-bike pics (unless these are top-secret designs  )?  I had no idea you were into biking!

If I won the lottery

1st- I would buy at any cost the War Memorial golf course adjacent to the LR Zoo- then I would renovate it for the primtes at the LR Zoo- lots of wide open space and all that luscious stuff( onsite medical facilities vs carrying them while sedated across the zoo, etc)! Of course I'd keep it open to the public- but the design would be such so that the primates never really know the humans were visiting- right now the humans can get too close to them and they bug the holy hell out of them (especially our chimpanzees, gorillas and orangutans)

Then I'd buy a pirate ship and sail away to a real Toadfish monestery.

OH and buy the island next to Capn' Jack Sparrow(aka his mighty hotness Johnny Depp)- really he has a 36 acre island for his family hw found and purchased while filming POC1. Of course that might be considered stalking- so just the ship.

For what I've been able to check the design is perhaps patentable, although the whole patenting thing is a mayor PITA.

My current design is still in Alpha (although this is MkIII), I still have to solve some problems. Once it makes sense I'll post a pic.
