My computer is on for most of my waking hours and I rarely sleep more than 6 hours. So unless I am out, the forum site is open >12 hours a day and I keep a beeper at 11 minutes to remind me of refreshing (F5) within the quarter hour.

So how many seconds does a refresh last? From that it should be possible to work out total hours per day. Assuming doing nothing between refresh actions.

Doing an F5 within the 15 minute range adds the time between the F5 and the last equal action (F5, opening a thread, posting etc.) to the log time. If no action is taken within that time, no log time is added at all.

So you cannot control it all. You have to rely on someone popping in to reply to your posts. Unless you do double posts. ie. F5 followed by another F5 counts 0?

No, any F5 or action that let's your computer actively contact the site counts.
