I have data contrary to your hypothesis on time logged in vs messages:-

Hey, Roland Deschain, you have 911 messages, 400 are new.

Total time logged in: 3 days, 3 hours and 11 minutes.

See? :nonchalant whistle:

Knurrhähne sind eßbar aber empfehlen würde ich das nicht unbedingt.
The aspitriglos is edible though I do not actually recommend it.

Y'know, I think my counter actually underestimates my time online here.  My larger posts frequently take 2+ hours to author, but I suspect that if I'm just typing and not doing previews/refreshes the counter might time out after a set period and not capture the full activity.

Still, this place has been active for about 6 years, and 85 days of login time works out to roughly 4% of my life spent at the Monastery (and a higher percentage of my waking life). :o

If time the browser window is open would be counted, I'd likley have crossed the 1 year mark by now.
But most of the time I am simply waiting for someone else to post something I can answer to. But the most active time on the forum is usually outside my waking hours (when it's day in America).

I tend to log in and outt. So the time logged is time when I am active.

As Aggie, I occasionally take so long to compose  a post that the auto-logout sets in

Opsa

I only have 50 days logged on, which seems odd, since I spend a lot of time here, as well. I do not usually leave a window open here when going to other sites or working. My computer tends to bog down when I leave windows open. So I flit back and forth.
