I dunno where this ought to reside, but it is current events... mods feel free to move it if you think it ought to be somewhere else...

I have zero idea if this is any good, as a forum-- it may well be full of zealots of the non-believing kind.  ;D

I just signed up, though.  Look for me as "Bob of QF"

Hmmm. Never really thought of joining an atheist bulletin board. In my circle it's sort of like joining a "The World is Round" board; Yeah, OK, but what's the point?

Perhaps I'll lurk round the edges and when I'm sure neither you or the original atheists.com has been struck by lightning pretend I was there all along.

That's the problem with atheism; there aren't any prizes on offer to act as an incentive for the full-on non-worshipping scene. Unless you believe truth is beauty, and I've always thought Keats may have been being a bit optimistic on that one.

I agreed with Goat once. I forget what about. probably liking Cornwall. But at a different time of year to when he's in residence.

You'll have the last laugh when you're all in atheist heaven and I'm locked out for not being a devout enough sceptic.

And it is a very good name...
