According to St.Augustine the sex obsession is a direct result of the original sin.
Before that it was something completely rational and Adam controlled his 'part'.
With original sin that member rebelled against him and since then does what it wants and does not listen to reason anymore.
And G#d punished Adam&Eve with lust that mankind will not shed before death.
It is debated under (Catholic) theologians what will happen when someone goes to heaven*.
Some think that the genitals are lost (no need anymore), others think that women get repaired and turn into males at last (according to St.Thomas Aquinas women are defective males).

I can confirm there is no sex in heaven. My neighbour is a Jehovahs Witness and she told me.

People have refused heaven for that reason (not just because of the lack of sex but also the expected boredom).
The 144000 mentioned in Revelations are clearly declared as men (?) that did not have sex with women, so they must all either be gay, impotent(for whatever reason) or celibate frigids. The latter two groups would not make the best of comnpany for eternity.
