imagine the scene on board ship...man standing infront of loaded canon/accident waiting to happen type thing...BANG...legs blown off, rushed to Portsmouth Hospital...turns out his ex wife is in for a boob job as well...staff sort out his legs and patch things up tween him an his wife...meanwhile their son the cabin boy has a nasty accident with a futtock...and so on and so forth.

I'd watch it.

I might try submitting a script to the beeb. Operations without anaesthetic has got to make the programme more exciting...you'd get more patient/doctor interaction!  Charlie would have an eye patch so his eyes wouldn't be darting about as much as they normally do.
