Well, in German there is no difference between Chef and CEO

(a chef is a Chefkoch over here and Chef means one's superior in the workplace = boss)

A chef doesn't drink the soup usually because he a) already tasted it while cooking it and b) is usually sick of the stuff he cooks all the time.
