Have you checked the properties of the image? Also, while saving I recommend doing so in png.

In self-defense I usually use the extremly wasteful 24bitmap

Come, have a tartan

We occasionally get cattle escaping from Hereford market.  The story is, many years ago one blundered into a butcher's shop.  But mooses are unheard-of.  Although certain residents may see tartan mooses as they come out of the boozer.
I saw a cheeky fox the other day, in broad daylight, heading for the duckpond.  My friend fetched out her shotgun and discouraged it.  If it'd been in range, it would very likely have acquired a tartan pattern.
