It is flipping 59 degrees F here today. The weather man keeps saying there is a cold front on the way but it isn't here yet. I am in the library and at first they had the heat cranked up to hot and now it seems they have changed it to arctic and i'm a bit chilly---- and I am never chilly.

It's 75F/24C, how can I put it in a way that doesn't sound like bragging? Erm, the humidity is a bit high...ish...?

I guess the poodles shorn in expectation of the usual weather pattern are in danger of freezing now.

Looking out of the window I see that it is snowing and obviously for quite some time now. I'd estimate the layer on the garden wall is about two fingers thick.

Dry when supposed to be raining. Thay had snow in Cambridge, but I don't live there any more.

If snow fell only on lawns, children's playgrounds, and Nature, but not on sidewalks, roads, and parking lots, I would like it much better.

Cool and rainy today; I think it's trying to snow.

Snow on roads is indeed treacherous; I may have to give up biking or throw some knobby tires on once it settles in. I still plan to keep driving to a minimum if possible; the truck just sits in the driveway except for the odd large grocery run or outdoor excursion.

Why is it so warm up here? The furry tailed rats are still digging holes everywhere .
The last group were poisoned by my neighbor ( member here , never posts) trying to kill the pack rats, it was awful to see the rats so effed up. He also sickened the dog as well as kill all the adult squirrels I tamed . I still have their kits with me though and have they ever gotten FAT!
I am very concerned though , one has no fear of humans and it will likely not be long on this earth .
It is my new baby and I greive its loss already.

Ah, nefyu, that's horrible!

Damn cold here.  A friend gave me 3 brace of pheasants (i.e. six) which had got thoroughly frozen solid in his car.  I don't mind plucking and gutting pheasants, but by heck it was cold work inside them!

Never mind, that's 12 meals for the two of us.  Pheasant curry is excellent.
