A wee bit'o'rain.  Not nearly enough.

If this keeps up, I fear for spring...

.. but the Temps were lovely.  From the Mid 50's to the high 60's today.  Yesterday, it got to nearly 80...

I have sunburn.

No, really, stop laughing.

Sunburn.

In Scotland.

In March.

Opsa

That's it, I'm moving to Scotland.

Last night it rained and was around 55 F. I could hear the little Spring Peepers singing down by the creek.

This morning it's 20F with high winds. No froggy peeping today!

Bob in a quantum-state-of-faith

60F as of this moment in time.

Windy-- very, very windy.  Dorthy-would-be-concerned windy.

And dry.  Again.  But I expect 70-ish by day's end.

Wait.  My outdoor thermometer just toggled over to 61F.

It's a sign, I tells ya!  A SIGN!

Rain is spring weather!

Ww have a fairly mild-ish weekend predicted for here, but on Monday- SNOW AGAIN! Hopefully not much.

Bob in a quantum-state-of-faith

Still no rain.  68F.   Windy.

*sigh*

I'll go get Toto....

E tu, Toto?

Mild and cloudy today.

Last night I heard that we're in for over four inches of snow Sunday night into Monday. Grr!

Swatopluk

Sunny until late afternoon then a bit of rain. Strong winds throughout the day.

Rained today.

Luckily, nobody exploded an H-bomb-- at least, nobody that I knew did.

Later on, I went out lookin' at the shops.  I didn't see anything I wanted, so I didn't buy anything.

;)

Well unless you are situated on the very, very, north of the Orkny islands you live south of L and me and it is fully possible to get a sunburn in the vicinity of Stockholm in March if it isn't cloudy.
:)

Beautiful spring weather today but windy! It's a bit colder than it has been for the last two weeks but it's  more in line with the normal temperature for the season.

Snowdrops, crocus, and winter aconite are flowering which is a almost a month earlier than usual... Oh well there is plenty of time for another snowstorm this spring, we're not safe until a after the first week of may or so. ::)

Sunburn is not a function of outside temperatures. It's a notorious problem in the arctic and antarctic regions.

For me, sunburn is a function of not having seen the sun since about October, and forgetting that you need to be protected from it when you are working in the back garden.

Today it is grey. Not actually wet, but humid. The mist / cloud is sitting in the trees at the top of the hill behind the house. It's kind-of pretty.

Darlica

Of course not but the short days and generally cloudy winter weather around the costs are. :)

If one travels to the more northern part of Sweden where there is inland climate (and mountains*) and snow, you can get pretty badly burned this time of the year.

The risk lessens as soon the snow is gone though (the same problem as in the arctic) as the snow reflects the sunshine even better than open water. I've seen people who managed to get severe sunburn and frostbites at the same time when I worked at a ski resort up north (cold, windy, sunny day, didn't dressed up properly when hitting the slopes after sitting in lee in the sun on the mountain side). Stoopid.

One can get burned here to but it'll take a little more effort... :P

* why the mountains? We tend to have clearer sky in those areas during the spring and the snow will be gone in the valleys and on the lowland pretty soon.
