Single word, and you're getting further away.  The post is not involved.

For the contrast between the two LPWBs (which will help with the meaning), you are looking for the word AFTER octogenarian, not before.

Gems might be involved in the last piece of the word, but you need to think of the generic American slang neologism*. You'll need this word to get the tense correct.


Note that the various pieces I've suggested breaking the word into have nothing to do with the actual meaning - they are just stand-alones which can be diced out of it.
