It's been quite hot the last few days, and definitely enjoyable. Today has been a little cloudier, with the possibility of rain either later today or tomorrow. It was still warm enough to go out in just a t-shirt though, although I got a few odd looks from people. I then had to go back home and dress properly...

Knurrhähne sind eßbar aber empfehlen würde ich das nicht unbedingt.
The aspitriglos is edible though I do not actually recommend it.

We've just had the first of our traditional equinoctial gales - the remnants of Hurricane Nadine.   66mm of rain in this area in 24 hours (>2½").  Cap'n B's town had 3 schools closed - but not his, poor little chap!

Oh, dear!  Yes, the West Midlands have a load of flood warnings, too.  There are minor road floods in all the villages round us, but none here, as usual.  The Lugg is only half full ... so far.  It takes a while for the water to get down off the Welsh hills.

Some strong showers today but each just a few minutes.

The figures I gave were national, not local. My area has no flood warnings. Sounds like you are in a lucky spot David. We tend to get towpath flooding (R.Thames) in November when the spring tides are very high because the Thames Barrier was designed so that we do !!

If I dared to admit that, Sod's Law would come into play and we'd be nineteen feet under water.  So far, however, (16 years) the village has never flooded and we've only once been cut off from town.  Mind you. the other road leading out is cut most years.

Nice and brisk, here. Tomorrow it's expected to be warm and muggy. Nooooo! Not more of that!

Opsa

It is raining vats here. ("Buckets" does not describe it.)

I'm certainly feeling pretty mixed myself.  The weather is nice here at the moment.
