Good news: I received a call for a second interview on Friday.
Maybe not good news: I had to call back and reschedule it within two hours of receiving the call. The manager did not sound happy. On the other hand, no warnings of potentially loosing that interview because of it from friends who already work there.

Thanks.  Another two complete today.  I don't hold out too much hope, I mean I've been applying at this rate since October, pretty much, but at worst I'll probably get a couple of interviews out of it, and I can charge the expenses of travel on the potential employers.  Man is my life sad right now.

Well, they shouldn't hold it against you if you cannot make it, Scrib.  Doesn't mean they won't, but they shouldn't.  Good luck regardless.

I got a new flatmate. Her name is Daniele, she's a Kiwi, doing the work to travel thing, she is a very pleasant person indeed, and a damn fine addition to the house. We are happy.

It was a lovely Spring day here in NI, and myself and Jess went to do a survey in a disused quarry. Flora, pretty basic. Animals, next to bugger all. Still, had to sit still in the sun for a couple of hours to do the bird survey. Tragic.
