Nice, guys.

My happiness for today: the semester's almost over! I will sooooo happy on the 19th, when all this lot is over. I have most of my crap out of the way, and all that's left is to study and do the very last few assignments.

It's our works Christmas "lunch" today. We are going out for a meal, then off to the Continental market in the town for copious amounts of beverages, and I suspect, currywursts later on. (Had one at the weekend. Glorious, simply glorious) James, our boss, has already decided that he won't be coming in tomorrow. There are advantages to having your own company. Fortunately, James, being a Very Nice Guy, has told the rest of us that as he isn't going to be coming in, we don't have to either. And it isn't costing us any holiday days either. Officially, tomorrow doesn't exist...

I'm heading off to Galway for the weekend , instead.

My good news! History studying is DONE, essay's half done, half my economics studying is done.
Bad news is is that there's the other half to do...

I woke myself up laughing again.

Dreamt I was holding a "Bring a Random" party. Attendees had to find some total stranger and convince them to come to a party. people were turning up with someone they met at the bus stop, in the newsagent, library, Ann Summers shop.

Doorbell goes, and on the doorstep is a friend of mine, one John MacKinnon. He is entirely capable of being his own Random, as he is in fact an Agent of Chaos. Mistakes, calamity and wierdness follow in his wake like July follows June.

However, the redoubtable Mr M is not on his own. Accompanying him is the Burmese State Dwarf Opera company, 350 strong, dressed as Macedonian hoplites. The little guy with the fancy helmet standing next to him hands me a business card that simply says "Alexander" on it, fixes me with a steely glare and says:

"We were told there would be canapes. Remember Tyre? There were no canapes."

Then I woke up laughing....

How wonderful. I love absurd dreams.

I am also happy to hear that Griffin is still with us! She has been ailing, but hopefully she'll feel well enough to stop by soon.
