That's a heady feeling-- I remember the relief I had when mine was final.

A bittersweet flavor, to be sure, even when it was a carpy marriage, as my first one was.

It does feel good to close that old book and burn it, though!

I'll toast your new life on Sunday.

I finished the script for my next children's play. It feels good to be thinking about something new.

I do not think it has ever been a secret that dear AB suffers from depression, anxiety, and good old nuttiness.
Well i've been on Paxil (generic, no copay) for just over a year now--- thank you Dr H for being the woman who finally sat with me and listened and got it right with the diagnosis of general anxiety disorder (GAD) and also understands the hoarding i've had to be a part of it not something else weird (btw the hoarding is well under control-not perfect but I can have guests and strangers into the house!!!!) and paroxetine (paxil) is a wonder drug and I really feel like a human on most days-- and a toadfish all days. And love ya all forever and ever. That is my good news and more to the awareness that the mentally ill are amongst us (are often us) and it has to be treated just like any other illness.

My daughters job affords me a better internet link and I get coffee too. And i've always felt that this community has been and continues to be a real/physical part of my life-- what started as just fun and games at TOP became well ya know real.

I think it's amazing the things human science has learned with regards to chemical balance (and imbalance) in our organic CPU's...

... the way that people can be assisted with a wee bit o'chemical help is quite astounding, to me.

And when combined with "traditional" therapies (talking about things to sympathetic listeners, critical self-exam, etc) people that even 50 years ago would have simply given up, can be happy, relatively well-adjusted people instead.

Ain't scientific medicine wonderful?  I certainly think so.

Good news Ay-Bee ... and glad to see ya posting all regular-loike once again.

;D
