I've had a poster of Watson and Crick with their double helix model for ever- now I feel I need to take it down-- wow, he's got to be getting dementia or something.

yes he's only human- we all are-- but this is Watson- of Watson and Crick and the discoveries they helped the world understand did a great deal to make all humans realize that at the basic level we are the same(with minor variations)---

I think I agree- he's just trying to rationalize his inner racism.

Watson has always had a reputation for outrageous comments.

It's finally tripped him up.

We now seem to be having issues around freedom of speech. <sigh>
