I'm 55. I worked in my first political campaign when I was barely a teenager. Lots of that is just remembering stuff I have heard through years of experience. (And knowing a lot about early bad judgments people make.)

Hard to believe the stuff people said...but saddest? Nobody listened to Ike. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer all the time, but able to see what was coming if the folks running his VP got control. (They did. Richard Nixon was recruited to run against Helen Gahagan Douglas by Prescott Bush and his boy...)

I got 20 correct , it would have been more like 40 , but I couldn't believe those people would have said such things . Doesn't surprise me though .

The true jaw-droppers (like Gandhi) were not the difficult ones but those where 2 of the choices were equally likely to have said/done it like Cheney/Rummy, Rice/Powell, Jeb/Dubya...
