I had a great birthday, and I got the most amazing birthday present.
I got a "event voucher" form Lindorm and his mother, I'm going to meet and pet wolfs at one of Sweden's biggest and most well reputable zoos, Kolmården.

We went to Killeen to see my college roommate in a play, the first one she's acted it for 12 years!

talking about chicken fried bacon-- the thing this year at the Arkansas state fair was the 'pig licker'-- and no pirates need weigh in on that name thank you very much- most of what I heard is unprintable!
anyway
take very thick bacon, thread bacon onto a skewer, deep fry, cover with chocolate (yes chocolate) and add more salt if you want.
I did not go to the fair
not sure that i'd have been brave enough even if I had
evidently it was a hit and they sold thousands
