Griffin- don't make me come over there and feed you mush and make you stay in your room and stuff-- I'm a meanie.
I'm sorry- you felt good and tried to 'behave' how you felt and it was too soon.
I sorry

Gaaaaaaaaaaarh!!  I'm still feeling like I've been rolled over by several steamrollers. I just am sleeping and sleeping and then sleeping some more. I've been reading loads of threads on here and have nothing to say for myself. That's how bad it is !

Sometimes all we can do is just be still until we get better--- if you don't think you have any thing going on otherwise besides just extreme tiredness (like an infection, etc) then I think you'll be alright in a few days. If you need to get a doctors opinion then of course do so. I know it's difficult to be still -- life is just too busy and we learn all our lives that to being idle is naughty-especially moms. Just lurk-- it'll keep us on our toes!

My normal is keeping still til I get better; getting better doesn't really happen but I can manage to pretend better for a few hours here or there.

This is more keeping still til I can pretend better at all.

I have to manage to pretend I am better for a couple of hours tomorrow. That will use up any headway I have made.

Dear oh dear it's another rant.

I organized a nice (but probably beyond me) 5 client hours a week to quicken up the slow death. I got excited in my head 5 x 2 = 10  --- 10 hours in only 2 weeks. I could romp home at that rate.

Reality check. 2 cancelled this week, 2 are cancelling next week, another one has terminated early, the supervisor is cancelling his usual slot and using up another client hour for supervision instead.

I feel like Mr Mcawber - I will, if my ONE client turns up at all next week, have clocked up 4 hours in two weeks rather than the imaginary 10. quote doesn't quite fit but I DO feel like him.

OK. I did manage 5 hours one week and I won't describe the damage so I have to assume they won't all turn up ever again or risk having a hospital bed in the agency.

I seem to be having to constantly mortgage more hours to gain fewer.

Is counting counselling hours subject to the same laws as the economy?

And what really takes the buscuit, I have an oncology check up on the only free writing day so not even my case study is going to progress either.

I think that is done by Amateur Transplants. Couple of Brit doctors, who do song parodies (sort of like Tom Lehrer, just not quite so good)

OK, I give that the Least Understandable Sentence of the Week Prize, in spite of thinking I understand it.

Nope, that's one's an original by a carcinoid patient there in London.

I've got a collection of most of the Amateur Transplants stuff.  They don't disguise their voices to keep the curious Brits on Youtube from recognizing it...

Ah, well. I'll go and add another tick to the wrong again tally.

Personally, I think the Anaesthetist's Hymn is their best.
