Just done with In Bruges. Loved it.

I got through some Asian movies in the last few days, including the first two parts of King Naresuan (2.5 hours each, the third part is still in the making). The Thai seem to have a hand for great (and long) historic epics. What makes them extra interesting is the presence but not dominance of firearms (emphasis on artillery). And no wire-fu!

The Queen And I Film by the Irani /Swedish film-maker Nahid Persson Sarvestani, that was supposed to become a documentary about the Iranian Exile Queen Fahra Diba but turned out to be as much about the film-maker her self. It's a interesting story about two women in exile that despite coming from as different pasts as they possibly could turn out to have a lot in common.
