Title: Toadfish Noises
Post by: Griffin NoName on October 13, 2006, 01:01:05 AM
Whenever I point my browser at this site my PC emits a high pitched whiney noise for about 2-3 minutes. It's consistent and only associated with this site.

I am beginning to wonder whether I am picking up Toadfish conversations - or could it be the squidlings?

Oh Lord!  I hope your kidding.  I have no idea what that would be.  :(

Only kidding about the squidlings  :( - once the noise stops it doesn't happen again. It's so odd it seemed worth mentioning. However, I can't think of any normal technical explanations or theories - only absurd ones. And paranoia. Maybe the domain host has chosen my PC out of all the ones that access The Monastery for some weird seti programme  ;D ;D ;D

Where's the "high pitched whiney noise" coming from?  Your CPU speaker?  Your audio speakers?  Something else (e.g. fan, hard drive?)
