My Schnauzoid Americans can out-dog any cartoon Beagles you can muster.

Plus, they've always been tops at chasing ratties or any other ROUS that might appear. The night the possum fell through the bathroom ceiling at the old house in Houston the Schnauzies had to be barricaded in their Daddy's den to keep from attacking the bathroom door until we could get Animal Control there the next day to get the possum out of the bathtub.
