*OK, the sonata form clearly places two themes (each on a different tonality) in 'conflict' (the development of the middle part) which which are finally resolved in the same tonality. To suggest that this is a male "raping" a woman is stretching the metaphor waaaaaay too much. A different and perfectly valid way to read this, is to say that both individuals are having sex and that the resolution is amicable as both remain together after the climax.
